Fare thee weel thou best thou dearest.
Kind be ilka joy and treasure,
Peace, contentment, love, and pleasure.
After laying around and surfing the internet for the past few days, I was reminded that I have this thing. And now I’m back to update and possibly begin a consistent journal keeping effort. Don’t remember the last time I wrote but I’m sure a lot has happened since then. Here’s a recap of everything important that has happened and is going on now:
-I’ve got a house with Chris, (RA from last year and fellow track member), Taylor (His girlfriend), and Nate (a buddy of theirs).
-In my first year of eligibility on the track team. Indoor season is underway and in full swing.
-Tim is in Florida working on a Disney internship.
-And too many other truly exciting things to keep track of.
This is why I want to write, so things can be remembered more easily and looked back upon with fond memories. Hopefully I can stick with this, although I know that the prospects are grim of me having continuing entries.
3 years agoAlso this weekend was a Serenity’s grad party/Ryan’s 19th birthday party/ Father’s Day. All very exciting.
3 years agoYeah, that about sums it up. I found out today that I have substantially more money than I originally thought. Which is good because now I can almost afford to pay for half of my rent next year. The lack of monetary income seems to be a big deal of sorts. This is part of the reason that I’m not going to the U.P. with Dad and Tim tomorrow at 5:30am. The other part is a combination of practice and meh.
Celtic Fest is this Saturday. That should be exciting as long as I don’t need to spend any money. I’ll somehow have to resist the urge to restock my armoury. Speaking of which, I need to get a new driver’s license too. That would be a pretty good idea.
I’m starting to clean my room of the mess I brought home form school. By the time I get done I’ll be packing to leave. Speaking of which, beanbags. This idea was brought about by Tim and it seems like one of the best suggestions in a while. They will be a fine addition to the house.
I have already had a couple of Alzheimer’s moments where I had a great nugget of wisdom I wanted to impart here but immediately forgot. Oh well. I’m suprised I remembered that I forgot them.
3 years agoI just realized that all I really want to do is post lyrics from my favorite songs. The blog part is just for show.
3 years agoSo I officially work for the Oracle now. It’s a fun job, not much money though. I can work whenever I want so that’s nice. Anyway, went to Meagan’s on Wednesday. Didn’t go home, against the will of the mom. Turned out that she didn’t care, or forgot, either way didn’t get in trouble. Went 5-0 at Pong with Evan. My hack fell in a cup of rum. White Castle, good friends, and pukey (not me). Good times. Work at 11:30 the next day was fun.
Beach tomorrow hopefully. Then find a Father’s Day present. After is Serenity’s grad party and straight to Ryan’s for the birthday party. More good times to come.
Went to the Wheel on three separate occasions today too. I think that’s a personal record.
Relay for Life was going on at Gavit tonight. I don’t know what to say about that. And I keep hitting “;” instead of “’” for the word “don’t” and it is bothering me much more than it should. My slight obessive complusions about certain things tend to get on my nerves. I’ll probably have a list up some other time.
I realize that I become overly attached to certain songs as time goes on. I never really lose love for a song but kinda move on to the next one. Each one has it’s own eaning and memories attached to it which makes the shuffle function on iTunes all the more better. There’s not much of a point to this but I love my music. Music just makes life easier to live.
3 years agoFor I am a disciple of the Oracle. There is a prophet amongst you. Any and all questions you have shall be answered. No more will you have to wander the foggy paths of life, for now the Oracle shines a light before your weary steps. Come, all ye down-trodden. If the world presents you with a problem, the answer lies before your very eyes at every moment. As the ancient prophecy reads, “242-242 shall be your salvation”.
